SuperSeal30 can be used for Stamped Concrete, Stamped Cement, Decorative Cement, Bricks, Acid Stained Cement, Concrete Stains, and Exposed Aggregate. SuperSeal enhances the natural color of your Concrete Brick Pavers and Cement with a “wet” look.
SuperSeal30 can be applied with a 1/2″ roller cover. You cannot use a sprayer.
SuperSeal30 will help sand erosion reducing the amount of weeds.
One coat is recommended. Coverage is about 100 feet per gallon or 500 feet per five gallon.
One coat will result in a high gloss sheen depending on porosity of brick. Extra coats will result in a higher gloss.

Better to pour and roll out, or dip and roll on?
Dip and roll.
I bought the 30 for my pavers. I also want to spray the 30 on a stacked block retaining wall with a paint sprayer. Thoughts/recommendations/ear-boxings?
It is too thick to spray.
Thanks. Solvent safe Slit roller then? Same as for my pavers?
Yes, that would work, but any 1/2 – 5/8″ nap roller will work.
I was told at the store where I bought Super Seal-30 that I should use a sprayer and spray each coat very lightly, and roll with a roller. They recommend three light coats, each drying before applying the next coat. I see it says in the description not to use a sprayer. My concern is that if I only use a 1/2-inch nap roller, it won’t reach some of the deeper stamped grout lines and will miss some concrete. Please advise.
The SS30 is too thick to be sprayed. It must be rolled on.
Also should the 30 or the 25 Super Seal be used
Either will work. The 30 has slightly more gloss than the 25. Both will enhance as if wet with water.
Should I use the clear or the brown. I’m wanting to color enhance the current driveway & pool patio
Clear.
I will seal my concrete porch with Super Seal – M. Do I have to wait to be dry the first coat to do a second coat?
also, could we use the same sealer for my garage?
SuperSeal-M or SuperSeal 30? Only one coat for SuperSeal-M but you asked this question under the SuperSeal30 product.
What product do you recommend for an old concrete porch (65 sq. Ft.) Also, could you let me know what is the steps to follow using your product.
You cannot use a gloss sealer for plain white concrete. Dries blotchy. You would need a concrete water repellent like this: https://www.concretesealerstore.com/superseal-m-1-gallon.html
One gallon is plenty, just spray onto a clean surface.
Can it be requested for the SuperSeal 5 gallon be shaken before delivery?
I am sorry but we do not shake the sealers. You need to stir upon arrival, not shake. Shaking creates bubbles.
Can I apply Superseal 30 over Sika Pro Select Crack Flex Sealant that I applied to the expansion cuts?
Not sure. Do a test spot first to see how it dries.
Thanks. The label says avoid solvent based sealers. Does your product fit that category?
SS30 is solvent based.
what prep is needed for using super seal 30 on exterior walkways with exposed aggregate
Pressure wash to remove any dirt or grime. If you have any stains, you will need a cleaner that is specific to the stain.
what preparatin is needed for using super seal 30 on exposed agg exterior walkways
How long you think this product will hold up to Las Vegas heat
It is normal to recoat every 2 years.
Trying to find out any suggestions. This was a customers patio. We’ve used SS30 numerous times with no problems. First time this has happened . We used xylene and it looked good afterwards. About 30 days after the xylene this is happening again. Looking for some type of guidance to remediate this problem. Thank You
Was polymeric sand used?
Yes
It could be poly sand haze issues. See this article for tips: https://www.concretesealerreview.com/what-is-poly-sand-haze
Is it possible to lay some super seal 30 on garage concrete after prepping along with flakes first coat then top coated with a polyurethane?
No. This would not work. You need an epoxy for a garage: https://www.restore-a-garage.com/
I sealed my patio a year ago, but noticed that there was bubbles when I did it last time. I was wondering what I did wrong? I rolled it on and maybe put to much sealer on? I used the super gloss 30. Do I need to strip it before sealing it again? Thanks
This can happen when you apply to stamped concrete in full sun. Avoid the hot sun if possible.
what do you recommend for clay pavers ?
Wet look and or gloss sealers will not work for clay pavers. Dries blotchy. Try this for water repellent: https://www.concretesealerstore.com/superseal-m-5-gallon.html
Hi
I am planning to do a Concrete Sealing for my patio (DIY). Its stamped concrete recently poured 3 months ago. I am no big fan of Wet look and high gloss. Can you please recommend what type of Acrylic sealer should I go for to complete the project. I need the sealer to stay longer than the gloss and the shine. Would prefer Matte finish and Clear if possible.
Thank You
Try Supreme Shield SB-600.
Thank you
will this work with Toronto weather? I have concrete aggregate with stamp concrete border. do you have stores/dealership in Toronto area?
Yes, it will work there. No dealers. Online ordering only.
The approximate area of my concrete to be sealed is 1850 sq ft., how many litres should I get? And how many coating should I do?
4 of the 5-gallon pails. Just one coat.
What is the clean-up for this product? It is solvent based, so assuming paint thinner?? Just placed order for 5 gallons and didn’t see anywhere on website where it gives application or cleanup directions. Thanks
Xylene for cleanup.
Does this product expire
Shelf life is 1 year if opened. 2-3 years if unopened.
Can Superseal30 be recoated months later without removing the first application?
Yes.
I would like to know where you are located ? If in Florida where ? and how does this product hold up in the high heat and sun of Florida ?
We are in MI. Every 2 years is normal for FL to reapply.
How does this product compare Eagle or Thompson’s, which are sold at the big box stores?
Thompson’s useless and does nothing to actually enhance or protect pavers. Never heard of the Eagle brand. We would never trust any of the Big Box Brands. You can read many reviews online for them.
No it cannot.
It is an exterior sealer only.
curious, what would be the harm in application on enclosed brick sun room?
Odor and fumes.
Do you have a product you would recommend for interior application?
https://www.concretesealerstore.com/masonrysaver-decorative-concrete-sealer-5-gallon.html
Wow! What a product! The brickwork was great but this sealer (sealer-30) brought out the amazing color that was missing. I am a fan of this product and will recommend it to everyone!
I have exterior aggregate (16 inches wide) surrounding regular concrete parking pads in front of a 3 car garages. Then the full aggregate turns into a walk, steps and porch to my front door. The Aggregate is in black colored concrete but the parking pads are regular grey concrete color. I was going to use the Super seal 30 on the aggregate and pads but seeing your comments to others that it dries uneven on regular concrete I guess the Super Seal 30 won’t work on my big parking pads in the middle of the aggregate? If it won’t, what sealer should I use on the regular concrete? Will it be the wet look like the Aggregate? Thanks in Advance!
No wet look or gloss sealer will work for regular plain poured concrete as they will all dry blotchy. You need a sealer that will not change the appearance for this. Try Super Seal-M:https://www.concretesealerstore.com/superseal-m-5-gallon.html
Thanks for this info. I didn’t need to have the wet look on my regular poured concrete but I did want to protect it with the correct sealer. Thanks for saving me a big mistake and now I can look smart to my wife LOL.
My driveway has the blotchy look from the wrong sealer, can you recommend something that will stip it back to its original state so that I can re-seal it with the correct sealer
What sealer was used prior? Please add some pictures in the comments so we can offer proper advice for removal
Please see attached. Thanks
Yes, you cannot use a wet look/gloss sealer for regular poured concrete as it will dry blotchy like your pics. See here for strippers to remove the coating:
https://www.concretesealerstore.com/concrete-sealer-stripper-5-gallon.html
Thank you again. Do you have a local distributor in Florida or I have to order online?
Online only.
We have around 635 Sq feet of surface, how much product would we need to cover, they are paver brick
6-7 gallons of the Super Seal 30.
I just had my driveway stamped last year. Would you suggest gloss or semi gloss and why?
Either. Choice is up to you.
Is this Super Seal 30 the best product for my travertine tile balcony to seal it and give it that wet look shine?
Yes.
Can the super seal be used on concrete vertical walls ( chimney) ?
If concrete bricks, yes.
Can I use the tainted sealer on my stamped concret ? Also when I applied the Clear coating on the concret BUBBLES developed, how do I solve this issue?
You can use the tinted it you want. See this website about the bubbles: https://www.concretesealerreview.com/how-to-fix-concrete-sealer-bubbles/
I clean and sealed a 2,000 sf shop, the concrete is about 3 months old! I turn out clear and with a gloss finish, but if you get down close it looks like small hair line cracking, is this normal, and can I apply a second coats?
David, this product is not designed for plain poured concrete. It is for decorative concrete surfaces like stamped concrete, brick pavers, stained concrete, etc. Using it on plain concrete could create issues with penetration and even coverage. The small cracks are most likely due to lack of penetration into the very smooth shop floor. Adding more is probably not going to help, but if you want to test a small area, do that first to see prior to applying to all.
I have an acid stained concrete area (no aggregate) around the pool that needs to be resealed. The stain has faded slightly; would it be a good idea to use the brown tainted Super Seal 30 to help enhance the original color or stick with the clear? Will the brown tainted Super Seal fade over time? Thanks.
The Clear is what most used unless exposed aggregate. It enhances the surface as if wet with water.
Have smooth troweled shop floor poured about a week ago, will Super Seal 30 work?
It should work but if you want to confirm, contact Clemons Concrete Coatings directly.
can I use this on red bricks?
Concrete pavers, not clay pavers.
Please tell me why not clay pavers? what will it do if I apply to it?
All wet look sealers will dry blotchy and uneven on clay pavers.
I have a stamped patio and was thinking of using this product. I live in Colorado Springs and have harsh weather with snow, sun and cold temperatures. I was wondering how long this sealant lasts since I have been sealing mine with a different product every 6 months. Hoping to find something that lasts longer. Also would you recomend the clear sealant? Thanks
Most surfaces will get about 2 years before resealing is needed but in your case, it looks like you have previous coatings that have turned white. If you, you need the chemically strip off all current coatings first.
Do you sell the chemical to strip it first and how much? How does that work? Was hoping to get things done before snow. Thanks

driveway pavers sealed with water based product 3 years ago in florida. pavers appear to have no sealer on them.can we use super seal 30?
Do you have a picture and is the surface porous?
I have unopened 5 gallon cans of superseal30, my question follows.
How long can they be stored and under what conditions (temperature, etc) ??
1-2 years. Maybe longer. Has to be stored in a temperature-controlled room.
Your site’s info page states that 1gal will cover about 100 ft. Is this 100 sq ft of coverage? Also i have put the aggregate crack filler in my basket. Should it be applied before or after the sealer? I would like confirmation on the coverage before placing an order.
100 sq feet per gallon. Filler would go on first.
I used Superseal 30 gloss with brown tint on my aggregate pool deck. It had not been sealed in 20 years. I power washed it twice, applied one coat, and it looks like new! Nice gloss, brings back the colors in the stone. I am very pleased with this product. Will most likely apply again in 2 to three years
Will this work on slate patio? Thanks
No, wet look sealers do not work well for natural stone. Dries blotchy.
I have used super seal 30 clear on my patio. Looks great. I want to use something just a bit darker to hide some marks. Is there a big difference in the color between clear and brown tinted? My pavers are a blend of gray, red and brown in color.
The brown has a brownish cast to it similar to the look of ice tea.
Used Super Seal 30 in Jan 2020 The Phoenix area had 25 days over 110deg it’s a great product
Can this product be used on stamped concrete that was previously sealed with a water-based sealer one year ago?? The driveway has recently been power washed.
It should be fine as long as the prior sealer has not turned white or blushed.
How well will it seal mason sand between driveway pavers?
If you saturate the sand with the sealer when applying it sill help to harden it from erosion.
We’ve been in our house now for 5 years and have never sealed the patio. This patio was probably installed in 2009, and I do not know if or when it was ever sealed. The picture is after heavy pressure washing with a turbo nozzle.
Would I be safe to use this for this patio? I do not see anything peeling, yellowing, etc.
Yes, it works great!
May this product be used with stone?
No, it cannot.
Is this product safe for use on the inside of a concrete bird bath where the water is held for the birds to use ?
No, it will not work for this.
How do you tell if the surface is porous ?
See if water beads or soaks in.
