Efflo Off is a buffered, non-acid, organic salts, technologically advanced concentrated cleaner designed for the removal of efflorescence, mineral, and salt deposits from virtually any type of hardscape surface with minimal or no brushing. Efflo Off is mild but may be corrosive to certain woods, metals, and plants. Covering and protecting surrounding areas during application may be required. Efflo Off’s unique Clean Rinse Technology allows residue to be quickly and easily rinsed away with a high or low-pressure washer. Efflo Off’s biodegradable and environmentally friendly phosphate-free formula replaces several types of harsh acid cleaners and its alkaline nature will help neutralize acid-based detergents and cleaners.

Suitable Surfaces
Ideal for concrete and clay pavers, concrete flatwork, and retaining walls. Can also be used on manufactured and natural stone, concrete block, and wet cast products. Works on both horizontal and vertical applications.
Efflo Off is compatible with all Surebond Sealers with proper dilution, dwell time, and application. Misuse may cause damage to the sealer. A test area is always recommended to determine product suitability and compatibility with your specific surface before use and also if desired results are achievable.
Surface & Air Temperatures
Excessively high or low temperatures will produce poor results. Best cleaning results are obtained when air and surface temperatures are 40°F or above. Do not clean when temperatures are below freezing or will be overnight. If freezing conditions exist, allow adequate time for the surface to thaw. If air temperatures exceed 90°F, flash cool the surface with water before applying the product. Do not allow product to dry on a hot surface. Always rinse thoroughly while the cleaner is still wet on the surface.
Preparation
Sweep and remove all loose soil and debris from the surface. Protect adjacent and surrounding surfaces not intended to be cleaned. Inspect the area for visible staining to determine stain types and quantity. If necessary, perform spot cleaning with S.R.B. Stain & Rust Buster and/or Oil Extractor prior to overall cleaning. Before using SureClean, test on a small, inconspicuous area to determine the suitability, dilution, and correct dwell time of this product for your surface. Allow test areas to dry thoroughly before evaluating the final appearance and results.
Dilution
Efflo Off is a concentrated cleaner that will need to be diluted to make this product ready for use. Dilutions will vary based on the severity of the stain and type of surface. Dilution rates will range from 4:1 (water to Efflo Off) to 10:1 to make the product ready to use. Under dilution (too strong) may cause damage to the substrate. Only use what is needed to efficiently clean. • 4:1 for maximum strength for tough efflorescence • 10:1 for sealed surfaces, light cleaning, and some mineral deposits.
Application
Pre-wet/mist (do not soak) the surface with water. Apply dilution of Efflo Off determined from pre-test using a low-pressure sprayer such as a garden sprayer. White foam signals product activation. After the initial foam collapse, reapply the product without rinsing until there is no further foaming. Improve results by scrubbing the surface with a brush to agitate and break down stains. Rinse the surface thoroughly with a pressure washer with a 25° to 40° fan tip or a garden hose with a nozzle. It may be necessary to use stronger concentrations and secondary cleanings to remove heavier, deep-set stains. Only use as much pressure as needed to thoroughly clean as excessive-high pressures can damage substrates. Concrete brick, synthetic masonry, and surface dyed substrates need to be rinsed at low pressures with a standard garden hose with a nozzle. Do not brush apply Efflo Off.
